The Florida Sculptors Guild comprises a diverse network of experienced professional sculptors and advocates for the visual arts. Our mission is to enrich, include, and educate our community about the sculptural arts.
We are dedicated to sharing our passion for sculpture, ensuring it is accessible to everyone. For instance, we collaborated with the Polasek to offer a show tailored for the vision impaired, demonstrating our commitment to inclusivity.
From interactive projects at local events to educational art exhibits, we strive to teach adults and children about the marvels of sculpture while fostering creative thinking and problem-solving skills. Our outreach activities, which include engaging children in hands-on sculpting, often attract participation from adults as well. We provide materials, tools, and guidance, allowing attendees to unleash their imaginations. Despite our projects being structured for brevity, we've witnessed children captivated for hours.
The Florida Sculptors Guild actively engages in community outreach, participating in events like Earthfest in Casselberry, the Cardboard Art Festival & Recycled Art Show at SoDo, Museum Day at the Polasek Museum, Sanford’s Festival of the Arts, Makers Faire Orlando, and Illuminart/Sculpture Walk/Arthouse Sculpture Show in Casselberry. Our sculpture exhibits have reached across Osceola, Orange, and Seminole Counties, with plans for future exhibitions in additional counties. Stay tuned for updates on our upcoming endeavors!
